somefreetools.com is a collection of free, browser-based utilities. This page explains what happens to your data when you use them.

We don't see your files

Every tool on this site — image, PDF, text, and file converters included — runs entirely inside your own browser. When you upload an image, a PDF, or paste in text, that data is processed on your device using JavaScript. It is never uploaded to our servers, because we don't have a server that receives it. Closing the tab discards everything you were working on.

What we store locally

Some tools save small pieces of information in your browser's local storage so the site works the way you'd expect between visits:

• Your light/dark theme preference.
• Company details you enter into the invoice, quotation, receipt, purchase order, delivery note, timesheet, or salary slip generators, so you don't have to retype them next time.

This information stays on your device. We have no access to it, and it's never transmitted anywhere. You can clear it at any time from your browser's settings.

Third-party resources

A few tools load small third-party libraries or assets from a CDN in order to work — for example, the OCR tool downloads its language data from its provider's CDN the first time you use it. These requests fetch code or reference data only; your files and text are not sent along with them.

Cookies and analytics

We don't use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on this site. We may add privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics in the future; if we do, this page will be updated first.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, since no personal information is collected at all in the ordinary use of these tools.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
